Five physicians were physically ejected and threatened with arrest from a medical conference in New Orleans for handing out a journal article critical of cuts to NIH research. The NIH director who was supposed to give the keynote address, fled before he had to face an audience who may not have been receptive to his message. Our children are among those being betrayed by NIH cuts.
