Bill Cassidy threw a tantrum on the Senate floor, got a private audience at the White House, and reversed his vote by midnight. He’s been very upfront about asking for the meeting. He’s been a lot less upfront about what he got out of it.

Some of you may have heard about the unfortunate incident at the Texas GOP convention, resulting in a major cleanup near the stage. Many have seen the video, Like most of you, I assumed I had heard the whole story. I had not.
